Instructions for the local Office 365 service

This is a collection of instructions for users who continue to use the local Office 365 service. If the instructions already exist elsewhere, only the parts differing from the instructions for cloud service users are given here. If you cannot find instructions for your problem here or in the other instructions, contact the Helpdesk.

Logging in to OWA (Outlook Web App)

ProPlus package and other cloud services

Users of the local service can also use cloud services (e-mail and calendar excluded). The Office 365 suite for university staff and students includes a home use licence for five devices, for example. Read the download instructions for the package here.

This allows you to use the OneDrive cloud storage service and Office Online software, for example.

Outlook 2013

Outlook settings are defined automatically. Follow these instructions.

Mac Outlook 2016

Outlook 2016 installation is done as instructed here, but the settings differ from the cloud service.

These are the correct settings for the local system:

  1. Enter your username under DOMAIN\username.
  2. Fill in the password
  3. Click Add Account.
