Is your old University laptop gathering dust? Are you curious about the University’s new device lineup or IT in general? The IT Center’s customer support team will set up an IT recycling and University IT information pop-up point in the Biocentre 2 (Viikinkaari 5) second floor lobby on Wednesday 7 February 2024 from 11 AM to 2 PM!
You can bring your old University laptops, phones, tablets and other devices to the pop-up point for IT recycling. Our IT customer support team will also answer all your University IT-related questions. See Biocentre 2 second floor lobby arrival instructions.
Please note:
- You can deliver old University devices to recycling via the University’s IT Recycling service at your convenience. See the University IT recycling instructions.
- The hard drives of all computers delivered to the IT recycling service are erased completely and in accordance with best IT security practices.
- 97% of the devices delivered to the IT Recycling service are reused. This extends their life cycle and reduces energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. A longer life cycle also conserves materials and reduces waste.
