Kumpula and Meilahti Campus Lenovo computers’ BIOS will be updated beginning 16 December – keep your computer connected during the update

The BIOS on Kumpula and Meilahti Campus Lenovo computers will be updated gradually beginning 16 December 2024. The update is installed simultaneously with standard Windows updates. You will receive an update notification on your Lenovo computer’s screen when the update is ready for installation.

  • The update will be automatically installed. Keep your computer connected to a power outlet and the Internet during the update.
  • NB: Your Lenovo computer’s screen may shut down for several minutes during the update, and several restarts may be required. Please wait until the update is complete.
  • The update is not yet available for all Lenovo computers, so some devices may still be updated later.
