Avidnote is a browser-based AI application on trial use at the University. Avidnote facilitates the production of research documents and assists with writing and results analysis. The application also includes transcription features.
Avidnote will be available to all University staff and students until the end of the trial period, 1 February 2026. The application licence will be extended if Avidnote is used actively during the trial period.
Influence the University’s selection of AI tools – take the Avidnote survey!
We kindly ask you to complete a short survey on Avidnote, which will take 1–5 minutes to complete – you have until 8 September to respond. We will use your answers in deciding whether Avidnote’s licence will be extended and to collect information about the University’s needs for other AI tools. We will discuss the results with Vice Rector Kai Nordlund on 10 September.
Note: The University’s general cloud service principles must be followed when using Avidnote
