Two-factor authentication (2FA) will become mandatory in the University’s Helsinki.fi Slack workspace from 1 July 2026.
We ask all University of Helsinki Slack users to enable two-factor authentication now by following Slack’s instructions. From 1 July onwards, all University of Helsinki Slack service users will need to sign in again using two-factor authentication.
- In future, users of the Helsinki.fi workspace in Slack will be required to sign in again twice a year.
- If you no longer use Slack, you can request the removal of your user account from the service by contacting IT Helpdesk – see the contact details below.
