The University is launching the MyAccount service, where all University community members will activate their accounts and change passwords through self-service going forward.
MyAccount (myaccount.helsinki.fi) enables faster user account activation, since all University community members can activate their accounts themselves in the new service. Students have activated their accounts as a self-service for a long time, but their account activation will also switch to MyAccount.
Changing passwords for all University user accounts has previously been done via self-service, but this will also take place in the MyAccount service going forward.
