HUPnet guest network will be discontinued 31 August 2020

The HUPnet guest network will no longer be in use from 31 August 2020. HUPnet will be replaced by the new HelsinkiUni Guest visitor network during summer 2020, see previous Flamma news item. HUPnet will be discontinued due to outdated technology.

• The HelsinkiUni Guest network, which will replace HUPnet, is intended especially for visitors. HelsinkiUni Guest will gradually be taken into use during summer 2020.
• University staff and students have access to the eduroam network, which is more efficient and provides better information security.
