Service breaks will occur with Kumpula Campus wireless networks (HelsinkiUni, HelsinkiUni Guest, eduroam and Ubikampus) from 13 to 16 May between 8 AM and 4 PM. The service breaks are due to the renewal of the wireless base stations. The service breaks also affect the Ubikampus wireless network, which will be out of use from 15 May 8 AM until 16 May 4 PM.
During service breaks, you can use your phone’s mobile hotspot function to connect to the network. See the IT Helpdesk instructions for using the hotspot function.
NB! Physicum’s wireless Ubikampus network will be out of us from 15 May 8 AM to 16 May 4 PM. The Ubikampus networks lengthier service break is due to technical factors related to renewing the Kumpula Campus routers.
Building-specific schedule for service breaks in the wireless network
The wireless networks at the Kumpula campus will be unavailable on 13–16 May as follows:
- 13 May 8 AM–4 PM: Chemicum
- 14 May 8 AM–4 PM: Exactum
- 15 May 8 AM–4 PM: Physicum
- 15 May 8 AM–16 May 4 PM: Ubikampus network, Physicum
