Service breaks will occur in network connections at the Kumpula Campus and remote locations on Tuesday, 7 May 2024 from 7 to 8 AM. In addition to wireless and wired network connections, the service breaks concern authentication and University services (e.g. Flamma, helsinki.fi and Microsoft 365). The service breaks are due to University core network maintenance.
During service breaks, you can use your phone’s mobile hotspot function to connect to the network. See the IT Helpdesk’s mobile access point instructions.
In addition to Kumpula Campus, the network service breaks concern the following University remote locations:
- Lahti operating unit of the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences (Niemenkatu 73)
- Korkeakoski (Hyytiäläntie 124)
- Lammi Biological Station (Pääjärventie 320)
- Rural Research and Training Centre (Seinäjoki: Keskuskatu 34, Kampusranta 9)
- Mikkeli (Saimaankatu 6, Lönnrotinkatu 5, Lönnrotinkatu 7)
- Saarentaus (Pohjoinen pikatie 800)
- Tvärminne Zoological Station (Hanko)
- Vaasa Unit of Legal Studies (Tammipiha, 4th floor, Pitkäkatu 28–30)
- Värriö Subarctic Research Station (Savukoski)
