Brief service breaks will occur with the University wireless networks (eduroam, HelsinkiUni and HelsinkiUni Guest) at the City Centre and Meilahti Campuses on Monday, 22 April 2024 from 1 to 3PM. The service breaks are due to the renewal of the University’s wireless networks’ and VPN connections’ login services.
Please note:
Logging in to eduroam with short usernames (e.g. rkeskiva) will no longer work after the service breaks on Monday, 22 April 1–3PM. You must get new eduroam profile settings and use your username ending in @helsinki.fi when logging in to eduroam going forward. You can also get new eduroam profile settings, if you are not sure which form of username you have previously used for eduroam.
Follow these steps:
- Download a new eduroam installation profile at the Geteduroam website
- Log in to eduroam with your University username ending with @helsinki.fi (rkeskiva@helsinki.fi)
- Read eduroam installation instructions for on Mac computers
- Read eduroam instructions for Cubbli on the Cubbli wiki
- Read eduroam installation instructions for Windows home computers
To minimize interruptions to your work, we recommend that you get new eduroam profile settings and connect to University Wireless networks (HelsinkiUni, HelsinkiUni Guest and eduroam) before the service breaks.
