Dustin Finland continues as the University’s contract supplier for computers and IT devices

Device procurement requests will continue to be submitted in accordance with the University’s IT procurement model under which the University procures computers and IT devices from a shared, centralized product range.

University staff and individuals with a contractual relationship with the University (D2 professors emeriti, D5 grant-funded researchers) can obtain devices directly from the recommended product range via the self-service tool (Onify – requires a VPN connection) without separate approval.

Important information about procuring computers and IT equipment in 2026–2027

• We recommend placing factory orders as soon as possible, especially if the invoice must be paid from the 2026 appropriations.
• The global component shortage continues to delay equipment deliveries.
• Further price increases remain possible. In accordance with our agreement, the prices of products supplied by the University’s contract supplier will remain unchanged until 20 November 2026.
