Microsoft Viva Engage (formerly Yammer) will be discontinued in 2025 by the decision of the University Communications and Community Relations. The final eol date will be announced well in advance.
Viva Engage will be removed from use as it is no longer actively used at the University. Teams has also replaced Viva Engage as an instant messaging platform. After the service has been taken out of use, you will receive a message You don’t have access to Yammer at https://www.yammer.com/helsinki.fi/. We will announce the final eol date well in advance later.
The University official internal communications platform Flamma provides important news and instructions for the University staff. Flamma also serves as a channel for the community, for example, through the Virtanen community feed.
The Flamma Workgroups service (workgroups.helsinki.fi) is primarily intended for the production and presentation of the University's internal content and for cooperation between academic communities (Haka and eduGAIN federations). The University wiki service (wiki.helsinki.fi) is intended also for presenting information that must be publicly accessible outside the University without logging in.
