The University acquired a Zoom Events license at the end of 2025. With Zoom Events you can organise large and multi-part events within the University’s Zoom service. These can include, for example, single- or multi-day hybrid or remote seminars, exhibitions or training events.
You can reserve the University’s Zoom Events license for a specific period using the Zoom Events reservation form. Please remember to check the service’s reservation status before making your booking. Your event can host up to 500 participants at a time with the Zoom Events license.

- If you need an introduction to using the Zoom Events platform or more information about the service, please contact: helpdesk@helsinki.fi. The University’s Zoom admin team provides direct Zoom Events support during the service rollout.

- The University also has Zoom Webinar licenses, which are suitable for creating Zoom webinars.
- Check the IT Helpdesk instructions to see whether a Zoom Webinar license or a Zoom Events license is better suited for organizing your event.
Zoom Events features
Zoom Events includes e.g. the following features:
- The ability to organise multi-level events (several sessions and segments at the same time),
- Participant registration
- Appearance customisation
- Networking with other participants
- Event analytics and reports
