Access to HUPnet will be restricted from the beginning of 2019

Due to an overhaul of the wireless roaming networks, access to HUPnet is restricted to HUPnet accounts as of 1 January 2019. University staff and students can still use the secure eduroam network.

Eduroam is an international roaming network that allows users to log in using the accounts they have at their respective organisations. Eduroam is preinstalled on computers of the University of Helsinki. If you wish to have eduroam on your own computer, you must install it yourself. You can install eduroam at https://cat.eduroam.org. You do not need to be logged in to HUPnet.
