Covid-19 affects computer and IT equipment availability during 2020

The coronavirus pandemic will affect the availability of IT equipment in the last months of 2020. Equipment and component deliveries take longer than usual due to the reduced air cargo capacity.

• Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the deliveries of many computer, tablet and phone models as well as components take longer than usual. In particular, the availability of non-standard Lenovo computers is worse than usual. 
• Standard Lenovo computers, displays and notebook docks are available almost as usual. 
• Apple computers and high performance computers are only available to a limited degree, and the delivery time of many models is at least 3–12 weeks. If you need more information about purchasing an Apple computer or a non-standard computer, contact Helpdesk:helpdesk@helsinki.fi
