F-Secure anti-virus software update on Windows workstations

The IT Center will update the F-Secure anti-virus software in the university’s Windows workstations during November.

• After you have accepted the installation of the update, you will see a pop-up window prompting you to restart your computer.
• Restart as soon as possible after the upgrade, otherwise your computer will be unprotected.
• The new version has a look that is familiar from the previous versions.
• The software has a new feature called Browsing Protection. When you enable this feature in your browser, it will improve browsing security and make online banking safer.
