The IT Center will move to new premises located at the Viikki Info Centre on Monday, 29 August 2022. We will move to new multi-space offices on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building. There may be temporary delays in our response times while we move during week 35. Our apologies for any delays!
We took special care in addressing the different needs of our specialists in the design of our new offices. The offices support the IT Center’s operations as well as the production and maintenance of the university’s IT services as comprehensively as possible.
As moving from dedicated office rooms to multi-location work is a major change for our work culture, we engaged the entire unit in the creation of new principles for hybrid and multi-location work as part of the work culture project carried out in the IT Center in 2022 and 2023. We agreed on the new principles jointly using a consent-based decision-making method.
Among our work culture project’s aims are the promotion of new ways of working, occupational well-being, and the continuous improvement of our working environment. Improving well-being at the IT Center is a continuous effort that is very important to us, and our unit has been awarded the University of Helsinki’s work community award in 2019.
