Possible disturbances in university network services and connections 30 November – 3 December 2020

Intermittent service disturbances may occur in university network services and connections 30 November – 3 December 2020 from 7 to 9 AM. The possible service disturbances are due to core network renewal work conducted by the University of Helsinki IT Center to improve the security and performance of the university’s network during 2020.

• 30 November 2020, 7–9 AM: possible service disturbances in SAP systems, finance systems, archive and Oodi.
• 1 December 2020, 7–9 AM: possible service disturbances in university public websites, Office 365 logon service, the university’s local Exchange service and the IT Center’s internal services.
• 2–3 December 2020, 7–9 AM: possible service disturbances in university network connections and services e.g. Helsinki.fi, Office 365 and remote desktops (VDI).
