Re-register the ID card you used for Unitube room access by 18 December 2024

The ID card registration required for the Unitube service will transfer to the new Uniprint system’s Ricoh devices going forward. Canon multi-function printers can no longer be used for this purpose after 18 December.

Unitube service authentication at Unitube rooms and studios runs in the same system as the University’s Uniprint printing service. For this reason, you need to register the ID card

you previously used for the Unitube service (e.g. your University ID tag, staff card, HSL card or printing card) for the new system so that you can continue to use the service at Unitube rooms. Also see IT Helpdesk instructions for using Unitube.

Instructions for registering to Unitube via Ricoh printers:

  1. Show the ID card to the scanner.
  2. Enter your university username and password when prompted.
  3. Log in to the system.
