The communications platform Microsoft Viva Engage (formerly Yammer) will be discontinued on 3 March 2026.
The reason for discontinuing Viva Engage is that it is no longer actively used at the University. Teams has replaced Viva Engage as an instant messaging app and channel for information sharing and collaboration between different groups and teams.
- You can find all the important news, services and instructions for the University staff and students in Flamma
- In the workgroup area (workgroups.helsinki.fi), you can share internal instructions for units, sectors, groups or projects.
- You can use the Wiki (wiki.helsinki.fi) to share instructions and information that must be publicly accessible outside the University without logging in, for example.
- In Teams, you can chat with colleagues using instant messages, share information and collaborate with your team, group or unit. In Teams, you can also find different support groups, such as the communications peer support group Viestinnän vertaistuki.
- We recommend the use of Moodle as the learning environment for courses.
