The University will introduce the hybrid version of Zoom in August 2026, enabling the use of cloud and AI features.

Our Zoom service provider, NORDUnet, together with Zoom, has developed a hybrid version of Zoom that combines NORDUnet’s infrastructure with Zoom’s cloud.

With Zoom Hybrid, user data remains within the EU. If needed, you can also use the Private Mode setting, which corresponds to the current on-premises implementation, ensuring that all your data remains on NORDUnet’s servers in the Nordics.
