Service description

IT instructions are located centrally at the IT Helpdesk website at https://helpdesk.it.helsinki.fi/en/. The service covers instructions for the use of the most common IT services. The IT-Helpdesk site also contains detailed instructions for common usage situations, such as activating usernames as well as best practices for IT security. IT-Helpdesk operates as a self-service and is available for users 24/7 during times when other Helpdesk services are closed. The site is open to everyone and provides service in Finnish, Swedish and English.
The service is meant for: University staff, students, units, external users

Maintenance break:
Monthly every 3rd Thursday at 2-4 pm.

How to take the service into use

The service does not have to be initiated. The instructions are freely available without logging in at: https://helpdesk.it.helsinki.fi/en.
