Viikki Campus Lenovo computers’ BIOS will be updated beginning 7 October – keep your computer connected to a power outlet and the Internet during the update

The BIOS on Viikki Campus Lenovo computers will be updated gradually beginning 7 October 2024. The update is installed simultaneously with standard Windows updates. You will receive an update notification on your Lenovo computer’s screen when the update is ready for installation.

  • The update will be automatically installed. Keep your computer connected to a power outlet and the Internet during the update.
  • NB: Your Lenovo computer’s screen may shut down for several minutes during the update, and several restarts may be required. Please wait until the update is complete.
  • The update is not yet available for all Lenovo computers, so some devices may still be updated later.
