A maintenance break will occur in the University Wiki service (wiki.helsinki.fi) on 8 January 2025 from 7 to 8 AM. During the maintenance break we will update links and addresses that still refer to the old Wiki service. The old Wiki service was discontinued in 2024.
The University’s Wiki service (wiki.helsinki.fi) was migrated from the old Confluence Wiki to the XWiki platform in early 2024. During the mass migration of Wiki content, the IT Center provided a service that informed University Wiki users if any of their Wiki pages were in the old Confluence Wiki format and should be relinked.
Updating target addresses manually to the current Wiki address format (the XWiki platform) proved to be demanding for some large Wiki sites. During the upcoming service break on 8 January from 7 to 8 AM we will update the addresses of these large Wiki sites to the new format with update scripts.
