Service break in blogs service 23 April 2021 at 9–11 AM

A service break will occur in the blogs service on Friday, April 23 2021 at 9–11 AM. The service break is due to an update and a web server software switch. The service break is divided into several short breaks, during which the websites at the address blogs.helsinki.fi will not work. We recommend that you do not update your Wordpress content during the break, as content updates may not be saved.

We will fix bugs and add several new Wordpress plugins with the update. The following plugins will be added:

• NextGenGallery – an image gallery plugin.
• AddToShare – a plugin that adds social media sharing buttons.
• Open Graph and OC Tags – a plugin that allows blog owners/editors to configure their Facebook/social media preview.
• WP Table Builder – an easy table builder plugin.
• Akismet spam plugin will be replaced with Zero Spam.
• Multisite Custom CSS for those who like to customise their CSS.
