The IT Center provides storage space for units in the IT Center’s centralised disk systems. Storage space is offered on the client’s own server connected to the fibre network or on servers under the server administration of the IT Center.

The IT Center is responsible for the technical operation of the servers. The client ordering the service must utilise the storage space as appropriate. The client must create back-up copies itself or, alternatively, agree on back-up copying with the IT Center. If the client is responsible for the administration of the server, the client must take care of the installation of the server and ensure that it works in the university’s information network.
