Due to the renewal of the wireless roaming networks, access to HUPnet is restricted to HUPnet accounts as of 1.2.2019. University staff and students are advised to use the secure eduroam network.
Eduroam is an international roaming network that allows users to log in using their own university credentials securely and free of charge. You can log in to eduroam with your university credentials in both domestic and foreign universities. Eduroam is available in nearly all universities in Finland and internationally in 101 countries.
Eduroam is preinstalled on computers of the University of Helsinki. If you wish to have eduroam on your own computer, you must install it yourself. You can install eduroam here.
