A network service break will occur on Kumpula Campus and at the university remote locations on Wednesday 2 December 2020, 8–9 AM due to core network renewal work. Due to post-maintenance work, short breaks and slow connections may also occur later in the day.
During the network service break on Kumpula Campus Wednesday 2 December, 8–9 AM:
- University wireless and wired network connections will not function or there will be disturbances
- Remote use of devices located in the university’s premises will not work
- If you are working on Kumpula Campus during the service break, you can use your device’s hotspot function and an OpenVPN connection to connect to university services. Read Helpdesk OpenVPN instructions.
- If the scheduled network service break is problematic for e.g. ongoing research, please contact us: helpdesk@helsinki.fi.
The following university remote locations will have a network service break Wednesday 2 December at 8–9 AM:
- Saarentaus (Pohjoinen pikatie 800)
- Korkeakoski (Hyytiäläntie 124)
- Mikkeli (Saimaankatu 6, Lönnrotinkatu 5, Lönnrotinkatu 7)
- Lahti (Niemenkatu 73, Neopoli)
- Savukoski (Värriö Subarctic Research Station)
- Hanko (Tvärminne Zoological Station)
