New guest network HelsinkiUni Guest gradually into use starting 15 June 2020

The IT Center will gradually bring the university’s new guest network, HelsinkiUni Guest, into use starting 15 June 2020. The guest network will first be used at the university’s remote locations and in Meilahti. The IT Center will gradually expand HelsinkiUni Guest to all campuses during the summer. HelsinkiUni Guest will replace the old HUPnet visitor network, which will be discontinued on 31 August 2020.

• HelsinkiUni Guest is a network intended for visitors. University staff and students have access to the eduroam network, which is more efficient and provides better information security.
• We will inform you separately of the termination of the HUPnet network.
