The National Cyber Security Centre has issued a severe alert on Android malware spread by SMS. The malware may e.g. steal passwords and other data from infected devices. Infected devices are also used to spread the malware further.
These scam messages contain a text message in Finnish. The message includes a link which will direct you to an external website asking you to download an application. The download link offers an installation package with .apk files for Android devices. This package is not an official application – it contains malware.
Do not click the link or install the software on your device!
