Windows 10 security vulnerability detected – install update as soon as possible

A security vulnerability has been detected in the Windows 10 operating system. University Windows 10 computers must be updated with the latest security update as soon as possible.

• Make sure your work computers is connected to the university network with VPN, cable or eduroam. See IT Helpdesk instructions for remote connections and eduroam instructions.
• You will receive a notification on your university Windows 10 computer when the update is available for installation. Install the update as soon as you see the notification. The installation requires a system restart.
• We recommend that you connect your university computer to the university network for a full work day at least once a week to ensure the installation of necessary updates.
