Centrally managed University Windows computers have received a “Turn On Windows Backup” notification from Microsoft since early autumn. The Windows Backup service does not work on University computers as this Microsoft service is intended for personal use on home computers (personal OneDrive).
To dismiss the notification, select No thanks in the dialog window. Alternatively, you can block all OneDrive notifications by selecting Turn off Notifications for OneDrive (under the three dots in the upper right corner of the window). Please note that by selecting this option you will not receive any OneDrive notifications.
