Move your group from Alma to the IAM system

Alma’s publishing tool will no longer be used for managing groups. Before that, the groups and their members in Alma will be transferred to the IAM system automatically for approval.

Group owners, please do as follows:

  1. If you know that your group is used for the user administration of an application, check this table (in Finnish) to see whether the application in question has already been transferred to IAM. If you cannot find the application in the table, first contact the application owner for the transfer. You can only accept the transfer of your group to IAM after that (point 2 below).
     
  2. Go to IAM and accept the transfer of your groups.  More detailed instructions can be found here.
     
  3. If you no longer need your Alma group, you don’t have to move it. The groups will be deleted in April 2017.
