Phishing messages warning of closing your account detected

Phishing messages that urge users to renew their Helsinki University Library account have been detected. These phishing messages contain a link to a fake login page, which is almost identical to the real University of Helsinki login page. If you fill this fake form with your login information, your username and password will fall into the hands of criminals.

• If you receive a message urging you to renew your Helsinki University Library login information, do not click the link in the message or fill in the form.
• These phishing messages claim to have been sent by Helsinki University Library.
• The message warns that your login information to the library services is about to expire and then urge you to renew your account on a regular basis.
