The university discontinued the use of Pulse Secure VPN software and the related VPN portal service starting on 21 April 2021. These services have now been removed completely. The services were originally to be discontinued on 31 May 2021, but a serious security vulnerability forced their discontinuation as soon as possible on 21 April 2021.
These services have been replace by OpenVPN, which has already been in use at the university for a long time. OpenVPN has been installed by default on all computers included in the university’s centralised administration.
