A service break will occur in IAM group and role management, the Lohju tool used for creating University usernames and the students' username self-activation tool from 12 April 10 AM to 18 April 2024 10 AM. The service break is due to the introduction of a new pooled repository database, with which we will unify and renew the processing of IAM groups and roles as well as University usernames.
Please note! If you are a University student and you need to either renew your expired username or activate a new username to use the University's information systems, we recommend activating the username before the service break of the self-activation tool on 12 April 2024 at 10 AM:
- See our bulletin on the Studies Service front page
- See IT Helpdesk’s instructions for using the students’ username self-activation tool
During the service break on 12 April at 10 AM–18 April 2024 at 10 AM:
- The IAM group management will be available, but will work very slowly, and uploaded data will be updated with a long delay. See IT Helpdesk IAM group management tool instructions.
- The IAM role management will be unavailable.
- It will be possible to create new usernames in Lohju, but the data will be transferred to the system very slowly and will be updated with a long delay.
- The students’ username self-activation tool will not work. See IT Helpdesk’s instructions for using the students’ username self-activation tool.
