Network service breaks will occur at all campuses on Tuesday 2 June 2020, 7–7:15 a.m. and in the evening, 9–11 p.m. In addition to data connections, university systems and network services (including helsinki.fi) will be out of use, and they cannot be accessed remotely. The breaks do not cover the physics computation cluster at Kumpula that implemented in CSC’s data center.
The service breaks in data connections form a part of the renovation of the university’s core network implemented by the IT Center to improve the capacity and reliability of the university’s core network in 2020.
During the network service breaks on Tuesday 2 June 2020, 7–7:15 a.m. and 9–11 p.m.:

- The university systems and network services (including helsinki.fi) will be out of use, and cannot be accessed remotely
- Remote use of devices located in the university’s premises will not possible
- If the scheduled service break times cause problems for ongoing research, for example, please contact us: helpdesk@helsinki.fi.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the service breaks. Thank you for your patience!
