Zoom Breakout Rooms are currently experiencing an issue where participants cannot join the breakout rooms by clicking ‘Join’, and Zoom does not display a notification about the problem. Meeting hosts can only see a notification ‘Not joined’.
- If you absolutely need the Zoom Breakout Room functionality while the issue is ongoing, please e-mail us directly to the address: zoom@helsinki.fi, and we will temporarily transfer you to the licensed Zoom service.
- Some users have reported issues with joining Zoom meetings through browsers. We recommend that you join meetings with the Zoom desktop client software or the phone application. See IT-Helpdesk Zoom instructions.
- Some users have reported issues with directly sharing PowerPoint. You can circumvent this issue by sharing your entire screen instead of PowerPoint.
- If possible, use Teams to set up meetings during the Zoom service disruption.
