The latest Zoom update (5.9.3) includes a fix for the PowerPoint issue experienced by some university Zoom users, where sharing a PowerPoint presentation with participants in presentation mode or changing slides did not work.
If you have not experienced issues with sharing PowerPoint presentations in Zoom, you do not have to do anything. If you have encountered issues, please read the following instructions:
- In the Zoom desktop application’s settings, go to the Share Screen tab and make sure that under the Share applications section the checkbox Share all windows from an application has been checked.
- Please note! If this setting has already been selected and PowerPoint sharing does not work, change the setting temporarily to Share individual window and close the window. Reopen the settings and change the setting again to Share all windows from an application.
