A browser-based secure service for building surveys and collecting their data.
With the REDCap tool, you can collect research data with online forms that you can modify according to your research purposes.
The tool is suited especially for collecting and managing sensitive research data. From REDCap, you can transfer data to R, SAS, Stata, SPSS and Excel for processing. REDCap is installed on the University of Helsinki’s own servers and the collected data will also be on the university’s servers.
To log in to the REDCap service, use your valid University of Helsinki user account at https://redcap.helsinki.fi/.
The service uses two-factor authentication. The first login is confirmed by e-mail; later you can use the Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator application.
Helsinki University Library is in charge of the service and self-service instructions.
The IT Center is in charge of server maintenance and application updates.
