Support for the university’s joint IT services. Support is provided by phone, e-mail and chat-service.

Service description

Helpdesk provides support for the use of the university’s centralised IT services and the most relevant applications and information systems. Helpdesk is available by phone, e-mail and chat-service. The Helpdesk also provides access to remote support and on-site support for everyone at the university when an immediate resolution of the problem is not possible. The Helpdesk also provides assistance for the acquisition of university software and hardware. The service is available in Finnish, Swedish and English.

How to take the service into use

People at the university may contact the Helpdesk by phone at 02 941 55 555, by e-mail at helpdesk@helsinki.fi and by using the chat-service on the Helpdesk site (cf. https://helpdesk.it.helsinki.fi/en.

Responsibilities

The user has the responsibility to contact the Helpdesk in case of problems and to provide the information needed for the resolution of the problem.
