Device-specific Office 2013 software on University computers will be upgraded to Office 2021 Pro Plus during the spring, as Microsoft will end support for Office 2013 on 11 April 2023. The upgrades apply to local Office 2013 installations only, not Microsoft 365 services.
If you have Office 2013 installed on your University computer:
- You will receive upgrade notifications on your computer starting from Monday, 13 March 2023. Install the upgrade when you receive the notification below:
- The upgrade installation takes 5 to 15 minutes. If you postpone the upgrade installation, you can install it from Software Center at a convenient time. However, the upgrade will be installed directly after 11 April 2023, and you cannot postpone the installation after this deadline.
