F-Secure Client Security will be updated on Windows 10 computers in November

F-Secure Client Security will be updated to a new version on university Windows 10 computers during November 2021. We will begin the update process for centrally maintained university Windows 10 computers on 1 November 2021.
 

  • The latest version of F-Secure Client Security will be installed on your university Windows 10 computer by 30 November 2021. Accept the update when you see a notification on your computer. The update requires a restart.
  • If you postpone the update, you can install it from the Software Center at a time convenient to you.
  • With the update, the F-Secure Client Security firewall will be disabled and the Windows firewall 10 will be used.
  • Before the update, locally made F-Secure firewall rules will stop working. This may also cause some applications to stop working. If you need to set local firewall rules, please contact our IT Helpdesk:
