CurreChat is a generative AI tool created for the students and employees of the University. CurreChat uses large language models developed by OpenAI, which are located in the Microsoft Azure cloud service of the University of Helsinki in the EU. The information entered into the service will not be used for further training of the language model. No identifying information of the user is transmitted to the language model.

Quick help
Permissions and logging in
The staff automatically have permissions to use CurreChat.
You can access the service directly on the university computer using single sign-on.
Usage
In the Instructions field, enter instructions as to what type of use you want the text to be produced for (e.g. “official statement” or “helpful assistant”).
The Prompt field is used to describe the matter itself. Describe what you are looking for. If the matter requires specific details, you can add them to the text. The more precisely you describe the purpose and topic in the prompt, the better results you will get.
You can choose the language both for the input and output. For example, you can ask in Finnish and request an answer in English.
Clarification and follow-up questions
Once you have given Curre a prompt, you can ask follow-up questions about the same topic without having to describe the same content again.
Reset when changing the topic
When changing the topic, we recommend that you reset Curre by clicking on the Clear button. In this case, previous prompts will no longer affect your new questions.
The responsibility for the content lies with the user
Please remember that you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the AI-generated content before publication.
Save as e-mail
You can send the output to your e-mail.
CurreChat for teaching
CurreChat is suitable for educational use, both in terms of data protection and features. CurreChat’s development work is focused specifically on educational use.
