How to contact IT Helpdesk

We offer service in Finnish, Swedish and English. You can see Helpdesk's service hours at the bottom of each page.

    1. In most cases, it is best to contact us by chat or by e-mail Smaller issues are easily taken care of in the chat, but you may be directed to a different service channel if your question requires more work or investigation. E-mail is a good channel for dealing with less urgent matters.
Note! If your browser has a script blocker (ublock, adblock, etc.) then the chat may not load.
    2. In urgent situations, please contact us by phone. Call Helpdesk number 029 41 55 555, or short number 55555. Calls made to the Helpdesk service number are subject to a charge (local network charge/mobile phone charge). When calling from your personal phone, the rates are determined according to the operator’s price list.

More information about the contact channels is available in the Detailed help tab.

You can also contact the Helpdesk via chat. The Helpdesk’s chatbot provides IT-related assistance in Finnish to university staff and students around the clock. The chatbot can already help with numerous problems and it continues to learn more based on the questions posed to it.
During the Helpdesk’s service hours (9.00–15.00), questions that are too difficult for the chatbot to answer are transferred to a human customer service agent, provided one is free.
To work, the chat requires JavaScript (which comes preinstalled on university computers).

When contacting us, please follow the instructions for support requests (Detailed help tab) to ensure we can help you as quickly and efficiently as possible.
