Visitors at the department

The international eduroam network can also be used by foreign visitors who are part of its cooperation network. Read more about eduroam at the University of Helsinki.  

• If a visitor uses their own laptop and only needs access to the University's visitor network, the HelsinkiUni Guest network is best suited for them. Read more about using the guest network.
• If a visitor also needs access to the University’s online services, such as Flamma, they will need a limited user account. Limited user accounts can be applied for as described in these instructions.
• If a visitor needs access to a group disk, for example, they will need a personal user account. Use the Helpdesk application form to apply for access rights.
