Change of name
Student
If you are a student and your name changes (e.g. when you get married), please submit the information to the Kaisa House Student Services either personally or by email sent from your helsinki.fi address.
If you want to change your email address, you can request it at the same time from the Kaisa House Student Services or later from IT Helpdesk. The notification must be sent from the University's email address. The old email address stays in use in parallel with the new one for three months. Your old emails will not disappear. There are delays in the systems, so your name change will only be reflected in the registers on the next day, and your new email address will only be operational on the day following its creation. We do not change user accounts because of name changes.
Staff
Report the changes by using the Personal information change form:
If you want to change your email address, check the box "I want a new helsinki.fi email address due to name change" on the form. The old email address stays in use in parallel with the new one for three months. Your old emails will not disappear. We do not change user accounts because of name changes.
Submit the form to the Payroll Services at palkka@helsinki.fi or print it out and send through internal mail to P.O. Box 53.
You can make changes to other personal information in the SAP Fiori system yourself.
