You can access the Microsoft 365 service via your browser at www.helsinki.fi/office365
Microsoft 365 is a service provided by Microsoft, which it develops according to its own schedule. There may be differences between the instructions and what you see on screen. At the bottom of each page, there is a link to a feedback form which you can use to report any significant changes.
Implementation of the Microsoft 365 service
New members of the university community (staff and students) automatically receive access to Microsoft 365 email, calendar and other services. By activating your account via the MyAccount service, you can get your account up and running quickly and easily.
Microsoft 365 Pro Plus for Home Use
Students and staff who have signed up for Microsoft 365 will receive free access to the Microsoft 365 suite, which includes for example the right to install the Microsoft Office software on their own devices.
Background
University of Helsinki uses the Microsoft 365 email and calendar system. The system also contains other applications supporting co-operation.
In practice, this means that e-mails to Firstname.x.Lastname@helsinki.fi are directed to the Microsoft 365 system. For reading e-mails, the Outlook application or the browser application Outlook Web App is recommended.
