Eduroam

Eduroam is the preferred and recommended wireless network for staff, students and members of the eduroam network.  The network can be accessed with the geteduroam application.

ATTENTION! Eduroam requires the user name to be entered in the form username@helsinki.fi (e.g. rkeskiva@helsinki.fi) OR username@ad.helsinki.fi (e.g. rkeskiva@ad.helsinki.fi), just the username without a suffix will not work.

You will need to log in again after changing your password! See detailed instructions for Windows and Mac.

How to connect to eduroam with different equipment:

Download settings from geteduroam.org to your own devices (mobile phones and Windows).

HelsinkiUni (on development)

A new wireless universal network that will initially be available only on the University’s centrally managed Windows workstations. No separate login is required. The network will be automatically available when the settings have been installed on the computer (carried out in stages).

Note! You cannot log in to the network with your own username!

HelsinkiUni Guest visitor network

The guest network is intended for users who do not have university credentials or access to the eduroam network. The network can also be used to install eduroam on your own terminal device.
